BACK TO SCHOOL COMPETITION 2024 / SKECHERS SHOESS
RULES OF PARTICIPATION
1. The " BACK TO SCHOOL CONTEST 2024 " is held by 3967620 CANADA INC. (hereinafter: the "contest organizers"). It takes place in Quebec and the Atlantic provinces of Canada. It begins on August 1, 2024 and ends on September 3, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (hereinafter: the "contest period").
ELIGIBILITY
- This contest is open to all persons residing in Canada who have reached the age of majority. Excluded are employees, agents and representatives of 3967620 CANADA INC, its subsidiaries, affiliated and related companies, its advertising and promotional agencies, partners, participating merchants, suppliers of prizes, materials and services related to this contest or any other party directly involved in the conduct of this contest, their family, their legal or common-law spouse and all persons with whom these employees, representatives and agents reside.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- To participate, you must have made a purchase in one of the 16 Skechers stores in Quebec and the Atlantic Canadian provinces or on our website shoess.ca between August 1 and September 3, 2024

- In the participation form, you will need to enter your invoice number in the field provided for this purpose.
- Enter the competition on the website whose address is given above, in article 3, from August 1, 2024 and ends on September 3, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
Here are the steps to follow:
Participants must respect the participation limit mentioned below, otherwise the competition organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more of their entries.
- There is a limit of one entry per person.
PRICE
Four winners of the following prize: Win the value of your purchase plus a Nintendo Switch including the Mario Kart game
The following conditions apply:
- a) The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable;
- The random draw will be held at the offices of 3967620 CANADA INC., located at 2626 Papineau, Longueuil, on September 4, 2024 (EST). Four (4) entry forms will be drawn at the end of the contest from among all entry forms received in accordance with Article 3, to award the prize described above.
- There is a limit of one prize per person and per residence. The chances of a participant's entry being drawn depend on the number of entries received, in accordance with these rules.
PRICE CLAIMS
- In order to be declared the winner, any selected person must:
- a) be of legal age in their province of residence (i.e., be 18 years of age or older if the person in question is a resident of the province of Quebec or Atlantic Canada);
- b) confirm acceptance of these regulations; and
- (c) confirm compliance with these regulations; and
- d) comply with all conditions applicable to the price and these regulations.
Failure to comply with any of the conditions mentioned in the paragraph above or any other condition provided for in these rules will result in the person's selection being cancelled and they will not be able to win the prize.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Non-compliant participation. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any person or cancel one or more entries from any person participating in or attempting to participate in this contest by means contrary to these rules or in a manner that is unfair to other participants (e.g., use of ballots obtained from an unauthorized source, entries exceeding the permitted limit, etc.). Such person may be referred to the appropriate legal authorities.
- Prize acceptance. All prizes must be accepted as described in these rules and may not be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in whole or in part for cash, subject to the provisions of the paragraph below.
- Prize Substitution. In the event that, for reasons unrelated to the winners, the contest organizers are unable to award a prize (or portion of a prize) as described in these rules, they reserve the right to award a prize (or portion of a prize) of the same nature and equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the cash value of the prize (or portion of the prize) indicated in the rules.
- Refusal to accept a prize. The refusal of a randomly selected person to accept a prize in accordance with the terms of these rules releases the contest organizers from any obligation related to that prize towards that person.
- Limitation of liability – use of prize. Any selected person releases 3967620 CANADA INC., its affiliates and related companies, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents and representatives from any liability relating to any damage that it may suffer as a result of the acceptance or use of its prize.
- Supplier Responsibility. Any person selected for a prize acknowledges that, upon confirmation of their prize win (by letter or otherwise), the performance of services related to that prize becomes the sole and exclusive responsibility of the prize or service provider. A statement to this effect will be included in the Declaration Form.
Limitation of Liability – Contest Operation. 3967620 CANADA INC., its affiliates and related companies, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents, and representatives are not liable for any malfunction of any computer component, software, or communication line, or for any faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or deleted transmission by any computer or network, including telephone networks, which may limit or prevent any person from participating in the contest. Bo-Pied Shoes Inc., its affiliates and related companies, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents, and representatives are also not liable for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by downloading any web page, software, or form, or by transmitting any information related to participation in the contest.
- Modification. The contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this contest in whole or in part should any event, error, or human intervention occur that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest as outlined in these rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. In all cases, the contest organizers, their affiliates and related companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of products or services related to this contest, and their employees, agents, and representatives will not be required to award more prizes than those specified in these rules or to award prizes in any manner other than as provided in these rules.
- Inability to act – labour dispute . 3967620 CANADA INC., its affiliates and related companies, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents and representatives will not assume any liability whatsoever in any case where its inability to act results from an event or situation beyond its control or from a strike, lockout or any other labour dispute in its establishment or in the establishments of the organizations or companies whose services are used for the conduct of this contest.
- Limitation of liability – participation. By participating or attempting to participate in this contest, each person releases the contest organizers, their affiliated and related companies, their advertising and/or promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives from any liability for any damage they may suffer as a result of their participation or attempted participation in the contest.
- Authorization. By participating in this contest, each winner authorizes the contest organizers, their partners and representatives to use, if required, their first and last name, photograph, image, statement relating to the prize, place of residence and/or voice without any form of compensation, at their discretion and without limitation as to the period of use, in any media and worldwide, for advertising purposes or any other purpose deemed relevant.
- Communication with participants. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with participants in connection with this competition except with those selected for a prize.
- Decisions of the contest organizers . All decisions of the contest organizers or their representatives relating to this contest are final and without appeal, subject to any decision of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec in relation to any matter within its jurisdiction.
- Dispute. A dispute concerning the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (Liquor, Racing and Gaming Authority) for a ruling. A dispute concerning the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of mediation.
- Precedence . If any article of this regulation is declared or deemed illegal, unenforceable or void by a competent authority, then that article shall be considered null and void, but all other articles shall not be affected and shall be enforced to the extent permitted and authorized by law.
- Copy of the rules. The contest rules are available upon request from 3967620 CANADA INC.
